The Junior Study celebrates Annual Function
The Annual Function 2014-15 of The Junior Study was held at Shilpgram on Sunday 29th. Over 1,000 family members joined the wonderful event and had a lovely evening seeing their children perform.
The Annual Function 2014-15 of The Junior Study was held at Shilpgram on Sunday 29th. Over 1,000 family members joined the wonderful event and had a lovely evening seeing their children perform. Everyone could see that a lot of preparation preceded the function.
The evening started with the Guest of Honor, Pradeep Saxena, lighting the lamp, after which the Headmistress Asha Singh read out the annual Report. During the evening the audience saw a beautiful prayer dance by class I, enjoyed the Nursery children’s performance, jumped into Vengabus with the lower kindergarten kids, and got into holiday mode with the upper kindergarten students.
After Qawwalli performance, the class II students showcased the five elements of the earth via a futuristic dance. The audience also got to learn about Swine flu via a skit played by classes III to V students.
Class III children danced to a song about Rajasthan by Swaroop Khan, followed by address by the Guest of Honor. Class IV students performed a Gujarati folk dance wearing beautiful outfits, and Class V students showed their skills with a South Indian semi-classical dance.
After the Grand Finale, a vote of thanks was proposed. The evening finished off with the National Anthem and fireworks.
