Tiny Tots spread awareness of Junk Food Hazard

With the start of Cancer Olympiad, organized by Geetanjali Medical College and Hospital, an inter School “Health vs Junk Food” competition was held today at Narmada Devi Auditorium.
Kindergarten students of various schools including St. Anthony (Sec-4 and Sec-14), Delhi Public School, Witty International and Central Academy took part in the competition and displayed various risks of consuming junk food.
Around 120 kids from different schools showcased how to live healthy life by avoiding junk food and consuming healthy, non oily and natural food.
Dr. Shankar V, Radio Oncologist informed that there are around 35 types of cancer caused due to junk food. He said that junk foods are high in calories which draw many diseases. Chances of cancer are very probable.
The competition was won by St. Anthony School, Sec-4 while Central Academy and DPS stood on second position and St. Anthony, Sec 14 grabbed third place. The competition was judged by Dr. Pooja Gandhi (I.V.F Consultant), Sumit and Bharat.
