Udaipur Kids Selected at the National Children Science Congress 2012

The Project submitted by Ali Asgar Gurawala, student of standard 8 at Central Academy, Sardar Pura along with Aalekh Tank, Chinmay Jain, Shubham Jain and Zia Nath was selected at the State Level Science Congress held earlier this month at Kota. This project is being currently presented at the National Children Science Congress 2012 being held at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

The Project submitted by Ali Asgar Gurawala, student of standard 8 at Central Academy, Sardar Pura along with Aalekh Tank, Chinmay Jain, Shubham Jain and Zia Nath was selected at the State Level Science Congress held earlier this month at Kota.  This project is being currently presented at the National Children Science Congress 2012 being held at the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi.

The team leader, Ali Asgar Gurawala is now representing his team at Varanasi.

Under the guidance of their teacher Pradeep Sharma, the team researched on the calorie value of three dishes, the traditional Daal Baati, Samosa and Chinese Chow Mein.  The team visited various eateries in the city and observed the cooking methodology.  These dishes were then exposed to the Digital BoM Calorimeter at the Department of Renewable Energy, CTAE, Udaipur, where it was observed that Daal Baati with 198.6 Calories won the race.
