With the onset of Basant, several schools in the city celebrated today the festival of purity and freshness, Basant Panchami. In the sequence, students and teachers of Vidhya Bhawan Senior Sec School celebrated the festival of Basant Panchami today. Chief Guest for the program was former Principal of the school, Pushpa Sharma.

The celebrations were marked with several cultural dance and song performances by the students of the school. Yellow was the color of the day and the student dancers clad in yellow and showcased attractive performances.

On the occasion, Sharma expressed that the festival of Basant Panchami is a very important tradition in our society and the students must celebrate the spirit of it.

In the end, Principal of the school, E H Kazi delivered the vote of thanks.
