Grammy Award Winner and Instrumentalist Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt performed at Central Public School today where he played his famous Mohan Veena. The program was organized by SpicMacay (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music and Culture Amongst Youth).

The students, teachers and officials of CPS thoroughly enjoyed the Mohan Veena which is conceptualized by Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt who Indianized the ancient Hawaiian guitar and created Mohan Veena.

Pandit Bhatt has received international acclamation for his album “A meeting by the river” released in 1993.

School Director Alka Sharma expressed her gratitude to Pandit Bhatt for giving his precious time to the students.
