On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti few students of Witty got selected for the ‘FM talk show’ on 94.3 My FM in which they had an interactive session with the Collector, Mayor and Superintendent of Police.

Student did a meticulous job by asking questions related to the dumping of garbage, improper roads’ condition, Patel Andolan, crimes in the virtual world, Swach Bharat Abhiyan, plans for smart cities, “Action Udaipur” project, etc. Overall experience of students was good and students finally found their niche in public speaking and expressing their views, ideas and problems as unequivocal and responsible citizens.

On the other hand, a special Assembly by students of Grade 3 to Grade 8 was conducted at WIS to pay homage and respect to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri.

Students were given information on the importance of trust and harmony in our lives while being made aware of crimes, atrocities, killings against men, women, children and nature. They sung bhajan “Raghupati Raghav Rajaram” followed by various bhajans like Achyutam Keshvam, Vaishnav Jan etc. They were inspired to adopt Gandhian virtues of non violence, love, compassion and peace.
