Sesame Street, the world’s largest preschool educator is coming soon toUdaipur with Sesame Street Preschool, an early childhood education centre that is set to change the way children engage and learn.The centre will be located in Hiran Magri Sector 4, Udaipur.

Sesame Street Preschool is the latest initiative of Sesame Workshop in India. Sesame Workshop is the non-profit educational organization behind Sesame Street, the landmark television program that reaches millions of children every day in more than 150 countries.The Workshop’s mission is to use the educational power of media to help children everywhere reach their highest potential.

Present in India since 2006, Sesame Workshop in India, produces the educational television program Galli Galli Sim Sim, an entertaining educational television show that is broadcast on the leading children’s channel POGO and National broadcaster, Doordarshan. The show is watched by over 10 million children every year. Delivered through a variety of platforms, the Workshop develops research-based content – including television programs, books, games, mobile apps and community engagement initiatives – that supports early childhood learning, helps prepare children for school and addresses developmental needs.

This expertise is now being brought to the Indian preschool space through the Sesame Street Preschools.
