RIICO Plots E-auction; EMD Deposit Deadline Sept 25

UdaipurTimes, Sept 21, 2026 - The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO) is conducting e-auctions for the allotment of undeveloped and semi-developed plots in Jaipur, Bhiwadi, Dausa, Kota, Bikaner, Rajsamand and Udaipur. Plots located at Rabarka in Bhiwadi, Jodbeer in Bikaner, Jairampura in Dausa, the Industrial and Logistics Hub Dausa-Bandikui, Daulatpura in Jaipur, Kasar in Kota, Tanaja Ka Bansa in Rajsamand and Mal Ki Toos and Pipad in Udaipur will be allotted for various categories of use.

As per a government press release, online bidding for these plots will be conducted from September 28 to 30, 2026. Interested applicants can submit their online applications after depositing the EMD by September 25.

Under RIICO's policy governing the allotment of undeveloped and semi-developed plots, the initial lease period is 33 years, followed by a provision for renewal for two further periods of 33 years each. However, the policy did not clearly specify the fee/premium payable for the renewal periods.

To address this issue, RIICO has partially amended Rule 3 (AK).

According to the amendment, after completion of the initial 33-year lease period, a land premium equivalent to 10% of the prevailing allotment rate of the concerned industrial area at the time of renewal will be payable for both the first and second 33-year renewal periods.

Fulfillment of the prescribed conditions will be mandatory for renewal. These include:

• No outstanding dues at the time of renewal
• No violation of lease conditions
• Commencement and completion of the project/activity within the prescribed timeframe in accordance with the original allotment conditions
• Use of the land only for the designated purpose
