UDA Allots 1,109 Residential Plots Through e-Lottery
43,361 applications were received — 28,079 for 550 plots in South Extension, 9,530 for 311 plots in Udyam Vihar, and 5,752 for 248 plots in Nandeshwar Enclave
Udaipur, Dec 26, 2025 – The Udaipur Development Authority (UDA) conducted an e-lottery for a total of 1,109 residential plots across three housing schemes on Thursday (December 25) under the State Government’s vision of “Our Effort, Housing for All”.
The e-lottery was held at the Community Hall in South Extension, Balicha, in connection with the completion of two years of the State Government’s tenure and on the occasion of the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Urban Development and Housing Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Several public representatives and senior officials were present at the event, including Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, Divisional Commissioner Pragya Kevalramani, former MLA Vandana Meena, former UIT Chairman Ravindra Shrimali. UDA Commissioner Rahul Jain and Secretary Hemendra Nagar welcomed the guests and provided detailed information about the housing schemes.
The e-lottery was conducted for residential schemes developed at South Extension Sector-A (Savina Kheda), Udyam Vihar (Kaladwas), and Nandeshwar Enclave (Nohra). Online applications at reserved rates were invited from October 7 to November 17, 2025. A total of 43,361 applications were received—28,079 for 550 plots in South Extension, 9,530 for 311 plots in Udyam Vihar, and 5,752 for 248 plots in Nandeshwar Enclave.
Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra highlighted the State Government’s initiatives in urban development, saying the lottery process was fully online, automated and algorithm-based, with zero human interference, ensuring equal opportunity for all eligible applicants. He described the e-lottery system as a best example of good governance, strengthening public trust. He congratulated successful allottees and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to launching more housing schemes in the future.
The online lottery process was conducted using advanced algorithm-based software, ensuring complete transparency and eliminating human intervention. The four-digit algorithm numbers required for each category and sub-category were selected directly by applicants present at the venue. Allocations were made across EWS, LIG, MIG and HIG categories, each having nine sub-categories including ST, SC, persons with disabilities, government employees, accredited journalists and transgender applicants.
The entire process was live-streamed on large screens inside and outside the venue. After each allotment, signed lists by the district administration-appointed committee were displayed on notice boards and uploaded on the UDA website.
