Udaipur, 10 December: A Reconstructive Surgery screening camp was organized for leprosy patients in the Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery Department of Geetanjali Hospital on Monday, December 9, 2024.

After screening of 5 patients from Udaipur, Pali and Jalore district by Plastic Surgeon Dr Ashutosh Soni, they were advised to be admitted. The surgery on the patients will be done in the coming day as per instructions from the Medical and Health Department, Udaipur.

The screening camp was inaugurated by Dr. Pankaj Gaud, Deputy Director, Medical and Health Department Zone Udaipur. On this occasion, In-charge Udaipur Shri Gopal Puri, Pali Shri Bhura Ram Patel and Jalore Shri Ram Kumar along with Geetanjali Deputy Superintendent Dr. Suresh Chaudhary were also present. Geetanjali Hospital is the only private hospital in Rajasthan approved  for this procedure by the Government of India.
