Udaipur city is certainly any filmmaker’s first choice since long. We just saw every youth’s heart throbbing with the title track of “Dhadak” which has been shot beautifully at lake Pichola and Jagdish Temple.

Breathtaking beauty of Udaipur keeps knocking on a filmmaker’s mind. “Patakha” is a result of this knocking on the mind of director Vishal Bharadwaj. The movie is being shot in Udaipur in this lovely monsoon season.

“Dangal” girl Sanya Malhotra is in the city for “Patakha” shooting. A number of scenes have been shot in the city at Jagdish Chowk, Gangaur Ghat, Sajjangarh, Saheliyon ki Bari and City Palace. The actress was spotted coming down the stairs of Jagdish Temple as part of the shooting. Some local artists have also been taken in to perform in the movie. With Jagdish Chowk being an important and crowded part of the city, traffic got disrupted for a long time while shooting.
