If you are a Salman fan, then you just don’t need any other reason to buy the ticket; but if not – you should watch this for all the ‘Masala’ which is curled under one bun titled ‘Dabangg 2’.

Dabangg 2 is a box full of entertainment consisted of hilarious dialogues, ‘hulk’ action sequences, catchy songs and pinch of Bollywood masala, sprinkled here and there.

Chulbul Pandey (Salman Khan) is now transferred to the city of Kanpur, along with his family. While he is fighting crime and gathering lime light; he faces local villain, a politician Thakur Bachaa (Prakash Jha). Bachaa tries to overshadow our hero and it’s all about our ‘Kung-fu Pandey’ and his quest to grip Bachaa.

Needless to say, Salman Khan once again justifies the character of Chulbul Pandey, with his naughty and fearless attitude. Prakash Jha also stands tall in his character as Bachaa, which seems like the role is purely made for him. Makhhi (Arbaaz Khan), Rajjo (Sonakshi Sinha), Prajapati Pandey (Vinod Khanna) are sidekicks and do well in their frames.

The plot is quiet obvious and is not a thriller, but as a Dabangg legacy – it’s certainly not about the plot, it’s about watching characters (read Salman Khan) play his part.

Music by Sajid-Majid is so-so; ‘Dagabazz’ can only be called a melodious one. Frequent songs hinder the movie timeline and apparently ‘Fevicol’ is not as sticky on mind as ‘Zandu Balm’ was!

Dialogues, Music and Polt could have been better. But, it is surely not a ‘below average’ movie. Our desi, naughty and Dabangg Chulbul will make it worth your money spent.

The movie is a one-time watch for its entertaining value, but it surely is bit average then the first part of Dabangg.
