June 1, 2025 - The wait for Hindi-speaking fans of Pushpa is finally over. The Hindi version of one of India’s biggest blockbusters, Pushpa 2: The Rule, had its World Television Premiere on Zee Cinema yesterday, May 31, at 7:30 pm.

Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule is the sequel to the popular 2021 film Pushpa: The Rise. The film stars Allu Arjun in the lead role as Pushpa Raj. It continues the powerful story of a daily wage labourer who takes on the dangerous red sandalwood smuggling syndicate. His journey, which once was about survival, is now about control, legacy, and rising to the top.

Rashmika Mandanna as Pushpa's Wife

Rashmika Mandanna returns as Srivalli, who is now Pushpa's wife. As Pushpa rises to power, new problems begin - especially with her stepbrother Moleti Mohan Rao (played by Ajay) and Pushpa’s biggest enemy, police officer Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, played by Fahadh Faasil. The story mixes strong family drama with powerful action and deep emotions. 

Written by Sukumar with dialogues by Srikanth Vissa, the film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Sunil and Rao Ramesh. 

The film was released in theatres on December 5, 2024, and later came to OTT in January 2025.

Broke Box Office Records 

Pushpa 2: The Rule broke several box office records and earned Rs 1,871 crores worldwide. It became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2024 and the second-highest of all time after Dangal. It also beat Baahubali 2: The Conclusion to become the first Indian film to reach such big success after the pandemic. 

With a strong story, hit songs and Arjun’s brilliant performance, Pushpa 2: The Rule is a film that has made a big impact. Its Hindi TV premiere is another big moment in its successful journey.
