Villagers in Losing, Bhutala, and Kadiya Gram Panchayats are facing an acute water shortage due to a disruption in the Bagheri Ka Naka water project. The project, aimed at supplying drinking water to these areas, has left residents parched for the past 10 days.
Damage During Construction
The main water supply lines from Losing were damaged during the construction of National Highway 162E, increasing the crisis. With water completely shut off, villagers are struggling to meet their basic needs, particularly in the scorching heat.
Assurance from the Collector
Sarpanch Hemant Shrimalli of Losing met with District Collector Arvind Poswal to address the issue. In response to the pressing situation, Collector Arvind Poswal convened a meeting to address the water problems in the affected areas. Assuring prompt action, he pledged to resolve the issues within the next 10 days.
