10 kids who sell balloons and toys at Fatehsagar pal have been rescued and sent to shelter home at Narayan Seva Sansthan. These kids are between 5 to 13 years of age. 

Secretary for the District Legal Services Authority, ADJ Riddhima Sharma was given information about children selling balloons and toys at Fatehsagar's chowpati. It was informed that the parents of these children are forcing them to work. 

After getting this information, Child Welfare committe (CWC) and NGO members reached Fatehsagar pal, rescued the children and sent them to the shelter home at Narayan Seva Sansthan.

One of the kids informed the judge that he doesn't beg but earns to pay for his mother's treatment. The child doesn't have a father and his mother is a mental patient. He goes to Jodhpur once a week where his mother is being treated and pays for her treatment. He also buys things from Jodhpur and then sells them at various tourist spots. This fetches him 300 to 400 rupees per day.

The authorities stated that the parents of these kids must be counselled that it their duty to work and not the child's. It was also added that the  psychology of the child must also be probed into before taking any action.
