Students who performed exceptionally well in academics were given laptops and bicycle in honor by Tribal Area Development Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malwiya in a ceremony held today under Rajiv Gandhi Digital Student Yojna.

Students who performed exceptionally well in academics were given laptops and bicycle in honor by Tribal Area Development Minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malwiya in a ceremony held today under Rajiv Gandhi Digital Student Yojna.

Malwiya after his address, distributed cheques to all 100 selected students for laptops, 50 students for bicycle and three physically handicapped students received motorized cycles.

Raghuveer Singh Meena (MLA), Vikas Bhale, District Collector and other senior congress members and administrative officials were present on the occasion.

Malwiya in his address said, “The reason today more than 1 lakh meritorious students of the state received laptops, is to help the disadvantaged but talented students by making them aware of world affairs and technology.”

He added, “These students overcame various challenges and have made them strong enough to face any obstacle.”

According to Malwiya, there are several beneficiary schemes introduced by the government, especially for young people. Such programs will definitely bring positive change in their lives.
