100-Day Action Plan for Urban Local Bodies: Rajasthan CM
Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to discuss 100-day action plan of respective urban local bodies with newly elected heads and deputy heads on October 5
UdaipurTimes, Oct 5, 2026 - Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will interact with the newly elected Mayors and Deputy Mayors of the State’s municipal corporations, as well as the chairpersons and deputy chairpersons of municipal councils and municipalities, through video conferencing on Monday, October 5. During the interaction, the Chief Minister will discuss the 100-day action plan of the respective urban local bodies, along with the development of urban infrastructure, cleanliness, water, electricity and other public amenities.
CM Sharma held a meeting with officials on Sunday, October 4, and issued directions regarding preparations for this interaction. He said that the vision of Viksit Rajasthan can be realised only through developed cities. He noted that urban local bodies would be transformed through a comprehensive roadmap and a 100-day action plan.
A detailed roadmap is being prepared for the development of basic amenities in cities, including cleanliness, roads, drinking water, street lighting, traffic management and parks as well as for ensuring that the benefits of Central and State Government schemes reach the general public.
The Chief Minister said that, with the participation of newly-elected councillors and other public representatives, coordinated efforts by the State Government and local bodies would be undertaken to give new momentum to urban development in accordance with local requirements.
