Police department is planning to keep an eye on every activity of Udaipur by installing 1200 cameras under the Abhay Command Control Centre Project. As part of this dream project of CM, the command centre will do the monitoring on social media, tracing locations of vehicles across police stations and surveillance via cameras.

Police department is planning to keep an eye on every activity of Udaipur by installing 1200 cameras under the Abhay Command Control Centre Project. As part of this dream project of CM, the command centre will do the monitoring on social media, tracing locations of vehicles across police stations and surveillance via cameras.

This control centre will come up behind Town Hall. The police control room functioning at Delhi Gate for last 15 years will also be shifted to the new control centre.

It is anticipated that the control centre project will be inaugurated by CM Vasundhara Raje during her visit to Udaipur. Her visit to Udaipur is expected on 3-Dec.

Police officials informed that the project will be executed by Mahindra Defence. The company is currently working on laying fibre cables and for ensuring electricity connection for installation of 1200 cameras. Work on laying fibre cable from collectorate to municipal corporation will be completed shortly.
