15 Pakistani refugees granted Indian Citizenship in Udaipur
In a new year present, 15 refugees who had come to India about 10-15 years back seeking shelter were given pledge for Indian citizenship in Udaipur today.
In a new year present, 15 refugees who had come to India about 10-15 years back seeking shelter were given pledge for Indian citizenship in Udaipur today.
ADM City Subhash Chandra Sharma, delivered the pledge to 8 male and 7 female members. The 15 members from the Sindhi Community had taken refuge in India after being tormented in Pakistan. The refugees had taken shelter in their relatives place and had been trying for Indian citizenship for a long time.
The new year has brought a new dawn for these refugees with the delivery of the pledge. There are about 30,000 refugees in the state of Rajasthan. Last year, 3 people were given Indian citizenship in Jaipur in June.
