1530 job offers were made by over 130 companies from Rajasthan in the IT Job fair held at Mohan Lal Sukhadia University auditorium yesterday. The job fair was organised by Department Of Information Technology & Communication, Government of Rajasthan.

A total of 18728 applicants had registered for the job fair. Out of these 7000 applicants participated in the job fair. 1530 spot offers were made by companies after taking students through the screening rounds. Another 2005 applicants have been shortlisted for second round of interviews by the participating companies.

The applicants were divided into three groups: 12 grade passouts, ITI and B.Tech/MBA. Basis the groups the applicants were given an opportunity to sit for interviews. Each applicant had an option to sit for 2 interviews.

The next job fair will be held in Bikaner on 25-26 July.
