Out of the 8 chains snatching that have been confessed by Robin Jain, the Police have also got hold of two chains from his person. These were the items that Robin had snatched from a 55 year-old woman at Bhopalpura ‘K’ Road on Monday, 19^th March and from the lady on a scooty near Gattani Hospotal, Bhopalpura on Saturday, 31^st March.

Robin, who after being caught by the police on 22^nd April at Delhi Gate, has confessed to have committed more than half a dozen failed and successful chain snatchings since the last 2 months in various parts of the city.

25-year old Robin Jain, a Commerce graduate does not have any criminal background but is obsessed with earning easy money and his skills of zooming on a motorbike has further lifted his zest of taking to crime as a fulltime job.

Now, he has landed in jail and has been kept on remand till 25^th April. According to the police, more cases are expected to get revealed soon, although police is now trying their best to recover all the looted jewelry.

According to the Police, Robin Jain, resident of Kalaji Goraji was working with his step brothers in a shop located at Dhan Mandi. Due to not being able to make enough money, Robin was looking for an alternative.

Newly married Robin attempted his first chain-snatching soon after he came back from his honey moon in the month of March 2012.
