In Photo: Relatives of Injured bus passengers at MB Hospital

15 people have been injured while 2 died in a fatal collision between two private buses of Jai Ambe Travels and Pooja Travels at Chirwa slope early today morning. The buses were on the way to Jaipur and Ahmadabad respectively. All injured have been admitted to MB Hospital, Udaipur while the dead bodies have been shifted to the mortuary at MB Hospital.

According to sources, the mishap occurred at around 4 in the morning when a bus coming from Jaipur hit another bus coming from Udaipur. The cause of the accident is almost certainly due to high speed and imbalance.

Out of the 2 people who died in the accident are Hetal, 28 wife of Guru Prasad Verma, resident of Nehri Naka, Jaipur and Mukesh, 40 about whom more information is still not available.

The lists of the accident victims released by the hospital authorities are: Abaib (22), Kashim (35), Mahindra (25), Ramesh (30), Gopal (55), Kherunnisa (18), Mannu Bai (50), Kanchan (21), Kanna Ram (32), Yakub (60), Abdul Farid (45), Kailash (54), Guru Prasad (45) and Abdul Wahid (55).
