Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) has started the auction process of shops for the Hariyali Amavasya Fair, in which 265 shops went under the hammer over the last two days.

The Annual Monsoon Fair for which the auction was done, excludes the Fatehsagar Paal as venue, the alternative to which will be the Bambaiya Bazaar area.

Today’s auction session at Saheliyon Ki Badi took the total collection to around Rs.1.5 lac. The auction will continue for another two days, i.e. till 5th August.

According to Kavita Modi, President, Finance Committee, UMC, the decision of the Divisional Commissioner to exclude the Paal area as a venue for the shops, it will be the Bambaiya Bazaar where around 500 Shops will be setup as an alternative.
