The Municipal Corporation Udaipur is actively preparing for Diwali, and as a part of these preparations, they will be conducting a lottery to allocate stalls for the sale of firecrackers. Application forms for participation in this lottery will be obtainable at the municipal office from October 25 to October 27, 2023. It is important to note that these forms must be submitted by 5:00 PM on October 27.

Municipal Corporation officials have announced that the application form fee for this process is Rs 1000. Furthermore, applicants will be required to submit an identification card along with a demand draft (DD) of Rs 4961 in favor of the Municipal Commissioner. Following this, licenses for the sale of firecrackers will be issued by the ADM City. The lottery for stall allocation is scheduled to take place at 11:00 AM on the morning of October 31, 2023.

The Municipal Corporation is in the process of establishing 42 temporary stalls for the sale of fireworks at Luv Kush Stadium. These stalls will be positioned with a 3-meter separation from one another. Notably, this is the second time the municipal corporation is organizing this lottery procedure, which comes in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Local artists have the chance to participate in the Diwali Fair organized by the municipal corporation, and they can submit their applications until October 21, 2023. This fair offers an opportunity for the city's talented individuals to showcase their skills on November 2 and 3. To apply for this opportunity, artists should submit their applications to the revenue department by the deadline of October 21, 2023.
