The 42nd two-day free mass marriage ceremony for the disabled and the poor, organized by Narayan Seva Sansthan, began on Saturday at 11:15 am. The event took place in the Hada Auditorium at the Seva Mahatirth campus in Lion ka Guda (Badi). It was attended by Padmashree Kailash 'Manav', the institute's founder; co-founder Kamala Devi Agarwal; and special guests including Anju Kwatra, Suresh Kalra from Delhi, Harish Kumar from Surat, Gyandev Ahuja from Alwar, Pushpa Devi, Narendra Pal, Rajendra Rathore, Gautam, Vallabh Bhai Dhanani, and Brijbalala from Delhi. Institute President Prashant Agarwal and Director Vandana Agarwal performed a worship ceremony for Ganapati, seeking his blessings for the success of the event.
After the Ganpati Pujan, the Mehndi and Haldi ceremony of all the 51 couples was completed amidst traditional songs and dances under the guidance of Director Vandana Agarwal. During this, a large number of guests from different states of the country also danced and expressed their happiness.
In the afternoon, the institute concluded the felicitation ceremony for the foster parents (Kanya Daani) and relatives of the couples. During the event, President Prashant Agarwal welcomed the guests and highlighted the institute's commitment to fostering an environment where the disabled and underprivileged can live with happiness and equality. He shared that, in the past 41 marriage ceremonies, 2,357 couples have successfully settled into their households and are living happily.
Some of them have also come to this ceremony with their children to share the happiness with the newlyweds. During this, Agarwal presented the details of the services of the institute in the last six months and also presented the resolution letter for the coming year 2025.
Founder Manav thanked the donors for their support and dedication and wished the couples getting married in advance for their married life, which is an important institution of the society.
