The 48-hour bank strike which was supposed to be held by the midnight of 25^th September now stands deferred. The delegation met Secretary Finance and discussed the merger related issues, the wage revision issues, 5-day week working and reduction of working hours. Secretary Finance Rajeev Kumar appealed to all to defer the strike assuring them of looking into these issues and that positive steps will be taken in this direction.
