A case was registered in November 2018 wherein a female advocate had accused some people of illegal encroachment of her property. 5 of those accused have been arrested by police. As per reports, female advocate Suraj Joshi had filed a complaint against some people for breaking down the boundary wall of her ancestral property with intention of encroaching the land. Investigations reveal that there were 10 people from the land mafia group who broke the boundary wall of ancestral property of the advocate which is situated near Bohra Ganesh ji. The area of the property is around 6 thousand square feet.

The land mafia broke the wall and the gate of this property with a JCB machine. Regarding this issue the female advocate had lodged a complaint which went unheard of. Following this, the other advocates did a show down in front of the police station demanding quick action against the land mafia. Police has now arrested 5 of the accused namely Narpat Singh Rawat, Vijay Rathore, Pushkar Gayari, Lalit Bhoi and Abdul Rajjak. A loading tempo, auto and a car have also been seized by police.
