Girls run away from shelter home.
5 girls managed to run away from the open shelter home at Manu Seva Sansthan in Goverdhan Vilas area. After 6 hours, police could find 4 of these females but 1 is still missing. When interrogated by police, these girls informed that the warden was not providing good food to eat and her husband used to visit the shelter home who would force them to work as labour.
As reported by Warden Sonu Sahu, the girls had run away early morning on Wednesday around 4 a.m. These girls between the age of 15 and 17 left the shelter home without informing anyone. The warden complained that the girls locked her up in the bathroom and ran away, though the incident has not yet been proved.

When police got the information of the girls’ elopement, they started searching at the railway station, bus stand, parks and other places. When constable Rakesh from Goverdhan Vilas saw the pictures of these girls, he said that he saw 4 of these girls near Rajeev Gandhi Park when he was on his way to the police station from home. When police reached the park, they found these 4 girls there. One girl is still being searched for. As per reports, they were brought to the shelter home some time back as some of them didn’t want to stay with their parents and some had run away for one reason or the other.
