In a major crackdown, a joint team comprising of State Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (SDRI) and the Regional Transport Office (RTO) Udaipur carried out a raid at RSMML mines at Jhamarkotda. The team checked the documents related to vehicles operating in the mines and found major discrepancies.

53 vehicles engaged in the work were found to have challenges of operating against norm or without proper registration documents. These vehicles included dumpers, loaders and heavy earth moving equipment.

The joint raid carried out by SDRI and RTO Udaipur found 50 vehicles of contractor Hariram Godara Joint Venture to be working unauthorised. These vehicles were working in mining area without proper registration and document.

3 vehicles from RSMML were also found to have shortcomings as the RSMML officials had overlooked the registration and this was considered a serious shortcoming.
