6,000 Officers and Soldiers Deployed for Secure Lok Sabha Elections in Udaipur

Critical polling booths will see the presence of both Police Personnel and Central Armed Police Force...

In preparation for the Lok Sabha elections, various teams have been sent out to oversee voting across different booths. Working alongside the police, 6,000 officers and soldiers  will monitor the 2,230 polling booths in Udaipur district. Additional SPs in each assembly constituency will lead 3 DSPs or Inspector Supervisors, who will in turn supervise 8 to 10 sectors, each sector will continuously monitor eight to ten booths.

Critical polling booths will see the presence of both police personnel and Central Armed Police Force, with mobile security teams in these areas. Additionally, teams from nearby police stations will oversee the polling centres.

Each assembly constituency will have 3 Flying Squads, 3 Static Surveillance Teams, and 3 QRT teams continuously monitoring the polling centres.
