50 classical music artists of the country will perform singing, instrument playing and dancing

The 60th Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Samaroha is starting from today March 14, 2023 by the Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Parishad in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The events will take place at Lok Kala Mandal, Udaipur. The organization's secretary Manoj Murdia said that in this ceremony to be held at the Indian Folk Art Board, more than 50 classical music artists of the country will perform singing, instrument playing and dancing. The program will start at 7:00 pm sharp every day and the entry of the audience will be free. 

According to the President of the organization Dr. Prem Bhandari, Padmashree artists as well as awardees from Sangeet Natak Akademi will give their performances in this ceremony. As per the program of the concert, on 14 March Mohini Band of Pune in which 5 female artists will perform singing and instrument. Among them are Ruchika Kedar (singing), Sahana Banerjee, (Sitar), Savni Talwalkar (Tabla), Aditi Garade (Harmonium). This will be followed by classical singing by Vidushi Manjusha Patil of Pune. 

On March 15 evening, Padmashree Ustad Moinuddin Khan along with his son Momin Khan will play Sarangi and then there will be Dhrupad recital by Padmashree Pandit Umakant Gundecha and Anant Gundecha of Bhopal.

On March 16, Dr. Aarti Singh's famous dance group of Ranchi will perform Kathak dance and after that the country's famous Odissi dancer Kavita Dwivedi will present Odissi dance. 

On March 17, Delhi's renowned violinist Dr. Santosh Nahar will present a violin recital followed by Khayal singing by Mohd. Aman Khan. At the beginning of the program on March 18, Mumbai's famous flute sisters Debopriya and Sushmita will present duet flute playing, who are famous in the country and abroad. After playing the flute, renowned Khayal singer from Pune, Padma Shri Pandit Ulhas Kashalkar will present his singing.
