Going ahead with the no-plastic campaign, Lake Patrol team seized 625 kilo of polythene from a shop in Hiranmagri. Lake Patrol team also took action against people bathing in the lakes.

As per reports, a shop in Hiranmagri Sector 14 was checked for plastic bags and the team found 625 kilos of polythenes in this shop alone at Nela road. Apart from this, the team also seized polythenes from various other firms at Delhi Gate, Chetak Circle, Nada Khada, Hathipole, Bapu Bazar and various sectors in Hiranmagri. An overall penalty of 16000 rupees was taken from these shops. Action was also taken against people bathing at lakes and the buckets and washing products were seized.
