Udaipur Municipal Corporation honored 69 students for their academic and sports excellence in a ceremony at UMC auditorium today. Each student was awarded a cheque of Rs 2100 along with a memento.

According to Rajni Dangi, Mayor, UMC, 58 students securing above 75% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary examinations were bestowed with this award. Also, 11 students were honored for their exceptional performance in sports.

Rajni Dangi further informed that only students of Government school were awarded for academic excellence in the ceremony. In the sports category, students securing Gold or Silver medal while representing the State or District were honored.

Cheque of Rs2100 was given by Gulab Chand Kataria, MLA, Udaipur.
