Around 800 youth who applied for the job of home guard were given token number today for their upcoming physical test on 15-16 Feb. The test includes health and medical checkup plus physical strength test.

Applicants from all over district were seen gathered outside the home guard training center near Swaroop Sagar today.

Arjun Singh Rathore, a home guard official informed that 800 applicants will try their luck for the 40 vacant posts of home guards.

The job of home guard is attracting many youth, mainly from rural areas as the monthly salary has been increased. However, the post is temporary unlike the post of police constable which has more benefits.
