Four dead bodies were recovered by the rescue teams as per reports received from ANI, from the site where an Army Advanced Light Helicopter crashed today at 10:43am while on a regular sortie in the hills of Arunachal Pradesh. The ALH Helicopter, carrying two pilots and 3 technicians reportedly crashed in the hills near Migging village which is in West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh and located 25kms from Tuting HQ as per Defence PRO, Guwahati.
As per news reports, two pilots identified as Major Mustafa and Major Vikas Bhambu of Army Aviation accompanied by three technical crew were on board the ill fated helicopter.
The crash site was in the dense mountain ranges of Arunachal near the Line of Control with China. This site is not connected by road and a rescue team of three helicopters, two from the Army and another of the Air Force were sent on a rescue mission.
Four bodies were recovered as per ANI and search is still on for the last missing in the completely burnt wreckage.

This area is a dense mountainous region and rescue operations took all of the day, as per the Upper Siang SP Jummar Basar. This is the second such incident in Arunachal this month. The ill-fated helicopter had taken off from Likabli this morning before crashing at 10:43am.
