Leopard strikes again at Kalahari village of Udaipur, kills cow

The people of Kalahari village of Udaipur has been gripped by tension since a few of them sighted a Leopard hunting a cow and dragging it at the Eklingpura area on in wee hours on Monday morning.

It was around 4.30 am when few of the villagers have heard the screamed of a cow, when they came out of their houses they spotted a Leopard holding a cow from its back and dragging it. But after seeing the villagers the Leopard fled away leaving the dead body of the cow on the spot.

The locals Kamal Panwar and Kishan Soni informed that it was a fearfull sight when they spotted the ferocious animal hunting his pray.They by expressing the concern said that movement of the animal like Leopard in residential colonies is a matter of serious concern, they have demanded the forest department to install a cage to catch the animal, today it was a cow tomorrow it could be human beings.They further add that there are few big hotel in the area and it could be fatal for the tourist coming here.

In the similar incidents Leopards was also seen at the Pandit Deen Dayal Colony of Balicha and also at Rani Road which is adjoining to the Havala village.
