Indian auto giant and leader in SUVs, Mahindra, unveiled a range of 5 new electric vehicle concepts that will be launched between 2024-26. The World Premiere was held at Oxfordshire, United Kingdom on the 75th Independence Day of India.
Speaking to UdaipurTimes, Aakash Parihar of KS Automobiles, exclusive dealer of Mahindra vehicles in Udaipur, said that two of the electric SUVs will be based on the iconic XUV brand and the other three SUVs will be branded "Born Electric" (BE) under the Mahindra 'Born Electric' mission.
Adding details, he mentioned that thest SUVs will be powered by batteries with capacities of 60-80 kWh, and power will range from 231-285 PS (Rear Wheel Drive) and 340-394 PS (All Wheel Drive). The vehicles will be able to sprint from 0-100 km/hr in 5-6 seconds. The 175kw fast charging will ensure 0-80% charging in less than 30 minutes.
