The city of lakes Udaipur, is ready to host its maiden civil society leadership engagement dialogue called "Mewar Talk Fest 2023" in line with the nationwide celebrations going on to commemorate the 126th Birth Anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, one of the most prominent leaders of Indian Freedom struggle.
The 23rd of January every year since 2022 is celebrated as "Parakram Divas" by Govt of India to celebrate the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
The theme for this congregation is "Parakrami Bharat" inspired by the message of Netaji's life and his vision of a Valiant and courageous India.
It will be a full day event and will be conducted at Placement Cell Auditorium Hall, C.T.A.E, behind MLSU Administrative Block, Udaipur. The day will unfold with sessions on various themes like "Mighty India of Subhash's Dreams", "India's Internal and External Security Challenges and Strategy", followed by informative movie screening and a brainstorming session on India@2030.
It will be enlightened by the wisdom and vision of speakers like Mr. Anand Narasimhan (Managing Editor, Spl Projects & Sr. Anchor,
CNN News 18), Prof. B.P. Sharma (Group President (Planning & Control) Pacific Group of Universities), Dr. Sangeeta Pranvendra (Professor at IIMC, New Delhi) and Mr. Abhinav Pandya (Advisor (Security) to former Governor of J&K and Founder & CEO, Usanas Foundation).
The Mewar Talk Fest is a forum that will excite individuals from different walk of life like Students, Academia, Media, Geopolitical and Security experts, think tanks and other civil society members to delve deeper into floating discourses and try to develop a critical thinking mindset needed for Indian youth to succeed in Azadi ka Amrit kaal i.e., India@2047.
This talk will involve aspects like intriguing conversations, unveiling of literatures based on Netaji's life,book exhibitions, movie screenings, group discussions, "Selfie with Netaji" point to instil an organic connect with the living legend of Netaji, live performances, debate with prestigious speakers from all over India. The organisers will look forward to making this an annual opportunity for region's youth to learn and broaden their perspective regarding the day-to-day events of national importance.
