PM Modi performed the death rites of his mother, Heeraben Modi, on Friday, December 30, 2022, in Gandhinagar. Heeraben Modi died at the age of 100 at the UN Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Center in Ahmedabad around 3:30 am. 

PM Modi, along with his brothers, set fire to the lifeless remains of his mother, Heeraben Modi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and other politicians offer their condolences on the death of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mother Heeraben Modi.
