Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed at Udaipur's Dabok airport today on 28 January, 2023. On the 1111th anniversary of Lord Dev Narayan's birth, he travelled to Malaseri in Rajasthan's Bhilwara district. Lord Devnarayan's birthplace, Malaseri Dungri village, had an event that PM Modi attended. The Gujjar community worships Lord Dev Narayan as their patron god. He spoke to the crowd there and planted a sampling.
PM Narendra Modi arrived at Dabok Airport in Udaipur and from there he visited the gathering at Malaseri village, Bhilwara, Rajasthan. Notably, the PM's visited occured just before Rajasthan's state assembly elections which will be held this year.
Some sources claim that the BJP's visit to Rajasthan is not political but would ultimately be beneficial during the state assembly elections. The party will be able to create an impact of the thinking of members of the Gurjar community.
