Udaipur Police have identified the young woman, whose mutilated dead body was found on the rail tracks at Pratapnagar Railway Station on 28 July. The young woman had allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a passing train. The impact was severe and the head of the woman was severed from the rest of the body.  Attempts to identify her bore fruit on Sunday, when she was finally identified.

According to the police, the deceased girl's name is Sanjubai Keer and she hails from Rawatpura Manasa, Nimach. She lived in New Bhupalpura, Udaipur and was 32 years old. The deceased was identified by her husband Kailash Keer. The husband told that the deceased had left the house without informing.

The gilrs parents and family also reached Udaipur from Jhalawar, where in the presence of both the sides, the Pratapnagar police handed over the dead body to the family members after conducting a post-mortem.
