The city of lakes Udaipur, has broken employment records at the two Mega Job Fairs held in the city so far. In just two days, 4146 youngsters were hired by big companies. Maximum 76 companies working in 13 sectors came to offer jobs to these youths. Prior to this, 2069 people got employment at the fairs held at Jaipur and 3174 in Bikaner. Udaipur is now on the top list. 

Rajasthan Mega Job Fair was held at Railway Training Ground at Sukhadia Circle, Udaipur. On the last day of the fair on Thursday 5 January, 2023, CM Ashok Gehlot visited the Job Fair at Udaipur.

A total of 47 thousand candidates registered for this Mega Job Fair and 13100 candidates showed up among them. 4146 candidates were selected by the companies after the interview round. Around 2451 candidates were selected by ‘Skill and  Skilled Employment Private Limited Company.’ With 388 jobs offered ‘G4 Service Solutions’ was the second company who hired candidates. 

CM Ashok Gehlot's new guidelines for the Job Fair

Ashok Gehlot on Thursday 5 January, 2023, launched Rajasthan Skill, Employment, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Single Window Registration System and Job Platform at Job Fair. He said that the youth registered on the portal will be given employment opportunities. This platform will be available 365 days 24 hours to search and apply for all types of job opportunities. 

He claimed that a digital ID card with a built digital profile will be created after a single registration on the candidate portal. A candidate will be able to check the available jobs according to their skills on the portal daily. 

He also stated that the state government is working to provide more than 3 lakh government jobs. The State government is offering jobs to 2 lakh unemployed and are paying them Rs. 4000 to Rs. 4500. More than ten thousand candidates have been shortlisted from Udaipur in the Mega Job Fair.
