Udaipur-Thieves broke out in a house located at Road no.10 of Ashok Nagar area of the city and decamped with ornaments of gold and silver along with cash on Friday.

The incidence occurred on Thursday afternoon when the owner of the house Pushkar Soni has left the house at 11 am for Fatehnagar with his family for the engagement ceremony of his son.

Soni said that at the evening at around 4.30 pm he got a call from one of his neighbor that informed him that the main gate of his house is lying opened.

Upon getting the information he rushed back to Udaipur and found that the thieves have stolen around 11.66 grams of Gold and more than 3 kilograms of Silver ornaments with cash amounting between 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh rupees.

The thieves in their 20s can be seen in the CCTV Footages of the cameras installed near by the house. In the footages it can be seen that the accused entered the house from the main gate , and stayed in the house for more than an hour before leaving.

Soni said that he is about to have his son’s marriage next month and regarding that he and his family went to Fatehnagar at his in laws house.

However later a complaint has been lodged at the local police station and an investigation of the matter has been launched into the matter on the basis of the CCTV Footages.
