The Famous Tiger of Udaipur's Sajjangarh Biological Park 'Ustad' passes away

Udaipur Sajjangarh Biological Park's famous Tiger Ustad passed away here on Wednesday. According to the officials Ustad was having a tumor in one of his leg and following that he was under treatment, a team of experts was constituted for it.

Deputy Forest Conservator Ajay Chittora said that on 23rd December his health suddenly deteriorated and he fell ill, Blood and Serum samples of the tiger was taken by the team for examination and as per the report the Neutrophil is found to be increased in the blood after which the treatment continued.

But after 3 days treatment the tiger had taken his complete diet and was behaving normally. But the very next day he suddenly had diarrhea, he started passing black poop and on Wednesday he took hos last breath at around 2 pm. The tiger also suffered from Megacolon and was treatment the team of medical experts of Bareli in 2015 since than he remained normal till Jully 2022.

But it was around September 2022 when he was found having a bone enlarged of one of his leg and was having trouble in walking since than.

However the postmortem of the deceased tiger -24 named as Ustad was conducted at the Sajjangarh biological park through medical board.

The name of the Tiger-24 commonly known as Ustad came in spot light after he was labelled a man-eater after he killed four people in Ranthambore. He was shifted to Sajjangarh in May 2015.He was suffering from blocked intestine and was operated upon in December 2015. Ustad suffered from the ailment in Ranthambore also. The same problem occurred in Udaipur after which a surgery was held
