Promoting Rural tourism in Udaipur on the occasion of National Tourism Day, 2023

The state government has implemented the Rajasthan Rural Tourism Scheme. With the aim of implementing the rural tourism scheme, foreign tourists will be able to easily connect with rural areas. Under the scheme, the life, art culture and heritage of the villages will be promoted by the state government. This will provide employment opportunities to the local people in the rural areas. 

The Rajasthan Rural Tourism Scheme has been put into place as a result by the state government. The goal of the rural tourism initiative is to make it simple for international visitors to interact with rural regions. According to the plan, the state government would support the rural way of life, artistic traditions, and cultural and heritage. The locals in the rural areas will benefit from employment prospects because of this. 

Deputy Director of Tourism Department Shikha Saxena said that India is a country of unity in diversity. National Tourism Day is celebrated every year on 25 January for the promotion of tourist destinations in India. 

The state government has implemented the Rajasthan Rural Tourism Scheme. With this, employment will be created in rural areas by setting up guest houses, agri-tourism units, camping sites and caravan parks. Tourists from India and abroad will be able to get acquainted with the rural culture of Rajasthan. Guest houses will be available in rural areas.

The tourists coming to Udaipur will now be able to connect with the rural areas as well and get information about them. At the same time, the tourists who come for research projects will also benefit. At the same time, the villagers will not have to migrate to urban areas, where employment facilities will also be available.
