The team investigating the brutal murder of the Udaipur's tailor Kanhaiya Lal Sahu discovered that the registration number of the moter bike of the accused Riyaz Attari was 2611, which matches with the date of the Mumbai terrorist attack that took place in 2008. As per the investigating team, this could signal the influence on the psych of the accused where the date of the terror incident in India was kept as a number plate. This number, sources claim, was intentionally bought for the vehicle from the RTO for Rs 5,000. However it is actually not clear whether the registration numbers of the motorcycle was actually taken on demand or it is just a co-incidence.

As per the records of the RTO the motorbike was a 2013 model Passion Pro registered on the accused Riyaz Attari's name.The police team nabbed both the accused Riyaz Attari and Gaus Mohammed on the same bike at Bheem area of the Rajsamand district few hours afte the brutal murder was committed, when the duo was heading towards Ajmer after stabbing Sahu at his shop in broad day light on Tuesday, 28 June.

Both were brought to Udaipur and later on Thursday they were produced infront of the court amid tight security and were remanded  under Judicial Custody. A huge crowd gathered outside the court premises, which shouted slogans against them. Aggrieved over the incident, the people demanded capital punishment for both of them. Even all the advocates refused to fight the case from their side.

Police have also arrested two more accused on Friday in connection with Sahu's murder. The two persons arrested today were were identified as Mohammed Asif of Khanjipeer and Mohsin Khan of Savina area of Udaipur, as confirmed to the media by Praful Kumar, Inspector General of Police, Udaipur range.
