A beggar was killed when a car driven by a doctor run over him at MB Hospital compound. As there was no relative or known person to claim the body of the beggar, no case has been registered yet against the doctor. A shocking incident came under light today afternoon when Dr. Vinay Joshi, an orthopedic doctor was going home. While reversing his car he mistakenly overran a beggar sitting just behind the parked vehicle in front of orthopedic and trauma ward of Maharana Bhopal Hospital. The beggar looking about 50-55 years of age was injured severely and was taken to emergency ward of the hospital by people present at the scene. But soon after some treatment, he scrummed to his injuries. The body was later taken for postmortem. According to the sources, Dr. Vinay Joshi left the scene soon after the accident. While approaching police chowki of the hospital, Mubarak Hussain, chowki In-charge says, “We are waiting for the postmortem report to take any further action against the doctor.
