What is Aadhar or UID?

It’s a 12 digit unique number issued for all residents in India. The number will help in tracking all necessary information of an individual which will be stored in a consolidated data base. The Unique Identification Authority of India is heading this program.

How to get your Aadhar Card (UID)?

Visit any Aadhar Center in the city with your identification and residence proof. If you don’t have any residence proof then you need to take help from a person already having aadhar card.

After filling the aadhar form attached with all required documents you have to submit it to the aadhar official. Those who don’t have identification proof, have to identify themselves from one who is already carrying aadhar card.

The procedure will be followed by biometric signatures where your photograph will be taken; scanning of your all fingers and eyes will be the last step of registering yourself to aadhar.
