The Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB), Udaipur 3 officers of the audit wing on Wednesday night. These officers are from the PWD Chief Engineers Office, Jaipur, and were nabbed at PWD office at Gulab Bagh with 1.8 lakh rupees in cash.

These 3 officers were in Udaipur for the Audit-Para but could not give a satisfactory response about the cash they possessed. The amount was seized by ACB and further action was taken. Though ACB has not yet given details about the amount, yet they have not denied the fact that the amount could have been taken from the contractors and other department officers who were probably involved in some kind of dishonest transactions and who wanted that the audit-para be dropped.

The ACB team said that they had received information about this team from Jaipur who could possibly fiddle with the audit and that was the reason behind this raid.
