Five foreign tourists were injured when a safari vehicle overturned during an evening safari in Zone 7 of Ranthambore National Park. The incident occurred after a snake was spotted near the driver’s seat, causing the driver to panic and lose control of the vehicle.

The driver and guide promptly notified the forest department following the accident. The injured tourists were quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to a senior official from Ranthambore Tiger Reserve (RTR), the tourists involved were identified as Nicholas Kochi (42), Rebecca Micallef (37), Kailis Micallef (40), Agar Micallef (74), and John (50).

Rebecca and Agar Micallef, both from Australia, sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving treatment at a private hospital. The other tourists were discharged after receiving initial medical care. The official noted that the seriously injured individuals suffered from head, abdominal, and knee injuries.

The group had travelled from Delhi to Ranthambore and were staying in a nearby hotel. They had plans to visit Agra after their safari, but the accident disrupted their itinerary.
